This could be fire on the mountain for Olamide ‘s YBNL or an achievement as well. Rumors circulating the social media is that rave of the moment, Lil Kesh has refused to renew his contract with YBNL. Not just so, but a possible exit from the record label lingers around.

At the moment, both YBNL boss, Olamide and Gbese crooner, Lil Kesh have not responded to the rumors but a flash back at Olamide’s comments showed that the hip-hop recording artist would be happy to see Lil Kesh exit from the record label to establish himself after his contract had ended should the artiste deem fit.

Olamide had said in a tweet last year that he doesn’t plan to sign any artists to long term contracts. He mentioned this when this same rumors came up last year. Here’s what he said, and we can sort of apply to the recent rumors:
“Saying Kesh or Viktoh or anyone else is going to leave me is kind of shitty. I want these guys to be great, not to be slaves or dependent. All the guys I signed just (do) two years contract and when they are independent, my prayer is for them not to sign any deal with a record label (again).”

So, would things play out well for both parties if Lil Kesh decides to leave??!! Lets keep our fingers crossed. Meanwhile, Lil Kesh’s Efejoku has got Lupita Nyong’o dancing , and he’s still proudly flying the label name on all his social media pages.

We’re yet to hear back from Lil Kesh or his camp on this.
